I’m so excited to invite you to an upcoming workshop that’s close to my heart.
On Saturday, May 4 from 5-7 pm, I’ll be leading a hands-on Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop in Melrose in collaboration with Herbstalk at The Kitchen — and I would love for you to join me.
Together, we’ll be preparing Vegetable Pulao — a deeply nourishing, aromatic rice dish cooked with seasonal vegetables and infused with warming Ayurvedic spices. This isn’t just about following a recipe. It’s about experiencing how food becomes medicine when prepared with intention, awareness, and love.
We’ll begin the class with a brief introduction to Ayurveda, India’s ancient system of holistic wellness. I’ll guide you through the basics of the Ayurvedic approach to food — how the qualities of the ingredients we choose can support digestion, calm the nervous system, and bring balance to our bodies throughout the seasons.
