The kitchen is warming, the spices are ready, and I’m so excited to welcome a beautiful group tomorrow for a hands-on Ayurvedic cooking class at The Kitchen in Melrose.

We’ll be preparing Vegetable Pulao — a fragrant, nourishing rice dish layered with spring vegetables and Ayurvedic spices like cumin, cardamom, bay leaf, and fresh ginger.

But more than a recipe, this is a gathering rooted in connection, intention, and care.

We’ll explore how food can become medicine when prepared mindfully, and how simple ingredients can support digestion, calm the nervous system, and align with the rhythms of the season.
